Heidelberg (Germany)
03-05-2025
Heidelberg impresses with a wide range of sights and cultural landmarks. The main street, one of the longest pedestrian zones in Europe, is lined with picturesque alleys and undoubtedly ranks among the most beautiful of its kind. Shopping enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy here, as the selection leaves nothing to be desired. A true highlight is the world-famous Heidelberg Castle. From there and the Old Bridge, you can enjoy a view of the Neckar River and the surrounding old town. A special experience awaits with a ride on the Heidelberg funicular railway up to the Königstuhl. From the top, on a clear day, you are rewarded with a stunning view that stretches all the way to the Palatinate Wine Route. In summer, the city's cafés, restaurants, and weekly markets give it a Mediterranean flair. Heidelberg is undoubtedly a worthwhile destination – full of charm, history, and atmosphere.
