Fêtes Johanniques Reims (France)
31-05-2025
The Joan of Arc Festival in Reims takes place every year at the beginning of June to commemorate the coronation of Charles VII in Reims Cathedral on July 17, 1429.
During this event, the entire city transforms into a vibrant medieval setting. Street performers, minstrels, and jugglers entertain the crowds and bring the streets to life with their acts.
The festival offers a wide range of activities for the whole family, including workshops on wool spinning and stone polishing, demonstrations of historical weapons, and concerts featuring Celtic and Arabic-Andalusian music.
A highlight of the festivities is the historical reenactment of the royal procession, evoking the arrival of Joan of Arc and the Dauphin in Reims.
