Lake Garda

With an area of around 400 square kilometers, Lake Garda is not only the largest lake in Italy, but also one of the largest lakes in Europe. Tradition and elegance characterize the small town of Riva del Garda at the northern end of the lake, where the steep foothills of the Alps are reflected in the shimmering turquoise water. This area, which Goethe described as a ‘marvel of nature’, has attracted many poets and thinkers to the town.
