Bassano del Grappa
This charming town at the foot of the northern Italian Alps in the Veneto region is famous for its namesake grappa. The local distilleries invite you to taste different varieties of the fine grape marc spirit. In addition to grappa, the region also offers the opportunity to discover the small town of Valdobbiadene, which is around 50 kilometers from Venice. The wine-growing region of the same name, from which Prosecco in particular is produced, has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to the extreme conditions under which the grapes are harvested. Culinary and oenological delights are guaranteed.
